Mackenzie is the Global Startup Evangelist at AWS. His days are spent traveling the globe to meet startups, share their stories, and connect engineering teams together. Every day there are a large number of startups launching on AWS across every imaginable industry. It’s Mackenzie’s mission to find stories of startups that are helping to improve the world and share these stories with a wide audience.
As per a 2020 Global Knowledge report, nearly 80% of IT decision makers say their teams lack the cloud computing skills they need. There are cloud roles out there but not enough trained and certified cloud talent to fill these roles. In our effort to support you, students, in your cloud journey, we are excited to host an AWS Partner Job Fair in Munich on 1st March, 2023.
The hybrid event will be held in our AWS Munich office and simultaneously streamed virtually on Wednesday, 1st March. We will see 12 AWS partner companies present and discuss open cloud roles in a hybrid format. Students from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland who cannot join in person at the Munich office can network with participating employers virtually on the day. Eligible students can speak with company representatives at the event, apply for open positions, and can even interview on the spot.
If you are a student studying STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) and are keen to explore careers in cloud computing, you are encouraged to register as soon as possible. Students can select the option they prefer below – attendance in person or virtually. In-person attendance is limited to 150 students only (please register soon before spots fill up). Students will receive in-person address details or the virtual attendance link via email upon registration.
